O'Gara's Irish Pub and dear family friends joined together to host a Colts game fundraiser for Jessica's scholarship. Thank you to everyone who came to show your love and support. And, a special thank you to the O'Gara's and Dawn, the bartender.
Fundraising efforts got off to a great start with many donations received from the canisters located at local businesses, as well as many individual contributions that arrived in the mail.
Third Graders at St. Barnabas School sold friendship pins during lunch on April 11 and 12, 2007 - they sold out twice and had to take orders!!! A total of $350.00 was raised and donated to the Jessica Pinna Memorial Fund! Thank you so much to these amazing third graders for their efforts, and to everyone who purchased the friendship pins in memory of Jessica!
Skate for Jessica was held at Southland Skate Center on April 15, 2007. It was a HUGE success...raising $1325.00!!!! Thank you for participating! It was so great to have everyone who loved Jessica so much come together to celebrate her life and have a great time! An extra special thank you to Southland Skate Center for their community involvement - all monies received were donated to the Jessica Pinna Memorial Fund!
St. Roch Catholic School held a casual day on Friday, April 20, 2007. All students were given the opportunity to trade their uniforms for casual wear for a donation of $1.00. The students (and staff) pulled together and showed their support by raising $300.00! Way to go St. Roch Rockets!
On April 29, 2007, we celebrated "A Day With Jessica" at GiaBella's restaurant. The number of people that came out to share with us in celebrating Jessica's life was remarkable! The weather was awesome (Thank you, Jessica!), activities, food, and fun were abundant.

Car Show - www.Oldcarsonly.com - This event was held April 29, 2007 at the Lonestar Steakhouse in Greenwood. Proceeds from registrations and other donations in the amount of $400 were donated to the Jessica Pinna Memorial. Thank's so much Robert!
Treasuring Jessica Rummage Sale on May 19, 2007 was a huge success! Total sales were $4625.00. All unsold items were picked up by Amvets - thus, reaching families far beyond our local community. (visit www.amvets.org to learn more about the organization's services and commitment).
Thank you to everyone who donated goods, and to the unbelievable number of volunteers. There were many days of preparation leading up to the event. We could not have had such a successful day without you!
Glenns Valley Elementary held a walk-a-thon on May 18, 2007 to raise funds for the Jessica Pinna Memorial. Students raised an amazing $13,000 by asking for pledges from their families, friends and neighbors. On May 18, the students came together to walk for Jessica on a course set up at school. WE LOVE OUR GV EAGLES! A special thank you to all businesses and individuals who also sponsored the GV Walk-a-thon!
Three local Subway restaurants to donated 10% of proceeds from all sales made on Friday, April 27, 2007! THANK YOU SUBWAY (Mr. Patel) AND SUBWAY PATRONS!
