Thanks to the many donations received after Jessica's death, a scholarship fund has been established in her memory.
Scholarship Amount: two $500 scholarships will be awarded.
Applications are available in the guidance offices at Perry Meridian, Roncalli and Southport high schools.
Minimum requirements – Applicant must:
1. be a graduating high school senior residing in Perry Township, Indiana.
2. have a clean driving record (no points/no accidents). Top 10 finalists will be asked to provide a copy of their driving record obtained from the BMV.
3. have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
4. submit an essay on the topic ‘Responsible Driving – Making the right choices’. Essay must be a minimum of 300 words, typed, 1” margins, paragraph spacing at 1.5, Times New Roman 14 pt. font, must not exceed one page [8 1/2 x 11].
5. be accepted to attend an accredited higher education institution in Indiana in the fall of 2010 (submit a copy of letter of acceptance from attending college or university with application).
